Versatile Avocado Smash Recipe

Avocado Smash Recipe
Serves 4
- 2 medium avocados
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 2 tsp diced jalepeno (sub for cayenne pepper or chili flakes if you prefer)
- 1/4 cup cilantro
Place ingredients in a large bowl and mash with a fork until a chunky consistency is reached.
For breakfast: spread on whole wheat toast and top with a poached egg
For lunch: add to a mixed-greens salad with a portion of protein
For dinner: serve spread on a whole grain flatbread with chicken and a side of green vegetables
As a snack: enjoy as a dip with tortilla chips or sliced vegetables
