AMI Fun Run

The 19th annual Atlantic Medical Insurance Fun Walk is just around the corner.  On April 29, we will gather again in Freeport and Nassau to make a difference.

Over the many years, Atlantic Medical has donated over $450,000 to our partner charities. All proceeds from the annual walk/run is donated between the Cancer Society & The Diabetic Association of the Bahamas.  Last year, over 1500 clients and community members came together to raise more than $43,000.

The walk is promoted to our clients along with members of the community as a way to encourage a healthier fit lifestyle- not only for individuals but also for their families. Children and grandparents are welcome to join in on the fun!  In Nassau, a run segment was added which is becoming very popular among the running community.

Atlantic Medical is pleased to provide an opportunity to so many people to come out with family, co-workers and friends for a fun filled morning of exercise. Additionally, we provide them with a festive atmosphere after they are finished where many vendors provide samples of healthy drinks and snacks.

As the leading Insurance company in The Bahamas, Atlantic Medical believes that a healthy fit community is important for the overall health of individuals.  This year we are hoping that those who come out will leave “feeling awesome” just because walking or running gets you started with a healthy clear mind in having an Awesome day!
