CGI in The Bahamas recently donated $100,000 towards relief efforts after the southern islands were devastated by Hurricane Joaquin last month.
The funds will be used by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Bahamas Red Cross Society and Rotary Bahamas. Our thanks to the hardworking people of these organizations for all that they are doing.
Colonial Wellness coordinated a give back challenge for Quarter 4 for a “Better Health and a Healthy Environment”activity. We partnered with Keep Bermuda Beautiful by cleaning up around Warwick. Thank you to those who participated.
Bahamians had an opportunity to learn more about diabetes at the ACE Diabetes healthcare professionals diabetes seminar and ACE Diabetes Expo over the weekend of November 13-14.
A wide cross-section of the general public and healthcare professionals attended the events. The need for diabetes awareness and education on managing diabetes on a daily basis were addressed.
