Healthy Hummus Recipe
Get creative with canned goods like chickpeas by making simple snacks like the recipe below! Enjoy.
Hummus recipe:
1 can chickpeas
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup tahini
2 cloves garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp salt (I used pink Himalayan salt)
Method:
Blend together in a blender or food processor, scraping down the sides as needed. If it is too thick you can add a splash of water or the liquid from the chickpeas (aquafaba). Finish with olive oil, fresh herbs, and sea salt. Serve with crudite of choice!
