Our ZEST Wellness Team in The Bahamas hosted our 1st water aerobics session at Functional Fitness Center, one of our fitness partners. The session ran for a duration of 1hour (6pm-7pm) and all levels were welcome.

โ€œOur trainer for the session , Mr. Charles Sealey Jr., instructed the individuals that attended to perform aerobics such as: butt kick, arm curls, shoulder presses, stationary running and toe taps/ quick feet. The individuals thought would be pretty easy, but the challenge of doing it in the shoulder level deep water made it far more difficult than they had expected. That being said, the workouts  performed could have been done by anyone, swimmers of all levels. It was even inclusive of individuals who cannot swim. After the session, the participants spoke about the extra burn that they felt by doing simple workout in the water. They claimed they had felt nothing like this before and also mentioned theyโ€™re interested in having a water aerobics session at least once a month.โ€
